Cookie & Tracking Policy
Empowered Money sets no cookies on this website — none of our own, and none for analytics, advertising or profiling. We store nothing on your device between visits. This page explains what we do instead, and covers the one third-party exception: the booking widget.
Analytics and error tracking (PostHog)
We use PostHog, a product-analytics and error-tracking service, to understand how the site is used and to diagnose technical problems. It records things like pages viewed, device and browser type, an approximate location derived from your IP address (typically country level), the actions you take, and any errors that occur. This is processed on PostHog’s EU cloud, hosted in Frankfurt, Germany.
We configure PostHog to use in-memory persistence only. It sets no cookies and no local storage. Any identifier lasts for the current page session and is gone when you close the tab, so PostHog cannot recognise you on a return visit or follow you to other websites.
Vercel Web Analytics
Our host, Vercel, provides aggregated visitor statistics. It is cookieless by design and does not build a profile of individual visitors.
The booking widget (Cal.com)
On our consultation pages, the booking calendar is embedded from Cal.com, which runs our scheduling. That widget is served by Cal.com inside its own frame, and Cal.com may use storage within that frame that is strictly necessary to show available slots and complete your booking. It loads only on pages with a booking calendar, and only Cal.com can read it. Cal.com’s own privacy notice governs it.
No advertising or marketing tags
We do not run advertising, remarketing or cross-site profiling tags. No Google Ads, no analytics tag manager, no social-media pixels. We do not sell or share your browsing behaviour with anyone.
Why there is no cookie banner
A consent banner is required where a site places non-essential cookies or similar storage on your device. Because we place none, and the only third-party storage is what Cal.com needs to run a booking you have asked to make, no consent banner is required. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent before anything is set.
Your control
You do not need to change any browser setting to use this site privately. If you would like to restrict or delete cookies generally, your browser’s privacy settings let you do so.
